First-person shooter Overwatch 2 is a 2022 release by Blizzard Entertainment. As a sequel to the popular hero shooter Overwatch from 2016, this next game will include both persistent cooperative gameplay and a shared area for player-versus-player (PvP) activities. Since the number of players per team in PvP mode has been lowered from six to five, certain characters will need to undergo some revisions. It has been released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 4, 2022.
