Gran Turismo 7 Won’t Come To PC According To Series Producer

Gran Turismo 7 has been in the headlines due to the game being hinted at for PC but that is not going to happen, at least not anytime soon.

The series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has mentioned that there are no plans to bring Gran Turismo 7 to PC. It was in response to a question from a journalist who asked if they had confirmed the existence of a PC port of the game.

That’s not true. Regarding a PC version, I replied “(as a developer) it’s not that I haven’t considered all the possibilities. That means that the possibility is not 0, simply if you ask me “are you doing anything concrete?” I am not doing anything. There is nothing to talk about.

Basically, this was a normal response where the developer hadn’t confirmed or denied the game coming to PC as there is always the possibility of a port later down the line. As it stands, there is no PC port in development by Polyphony Digital.

GT7 is the latest entry in the mainline series from Sony that has sold more than 90 million copies worldwide. It is one of the most valuable IPs for Sony. The game is available for PS4 and PS5.
