Forspoken HDR Will Be Fixed In The Full Game According To Devs

Forspoken had received an early access demo on the PS5. This demo had issues with HDR settings but that might be fixed in the full game.

The developers of Forspoken recently held a live stream to talk about their game. During the live stream, they also shared some of the feedback they had received for the demo. One of these was related to the HDR issues in the game. The HDR appeared to be leading to crushed black further adding to the deteriorating visual quality of the game.

According to the developers, this is an issue that will be fixed in the full game when it launches later in January on PS5 and PC.

The demo also had plenty of gameplay mechanics that were not explained in detail. The developers outlined some of the customizations that the players could tweak to get a better experience including for the haptics. They felt a little too tight which could lead to the hand getting tired after a session of intense combat.

Another aspect of the gameplay that was talked about was the magical lasso that could be used to freely move around in parkour. This wasn’t possible to use on some surfaces in the demo but it will work more freely in the full game.

One of the abilities mentioned during the live stream is related to the cuff scan which allows the player to scan their surroundings. Since it was not explained in the demo, not many players discovered how to use it. All of these things will be explained in the full game with a tutorial.

Forspoken is currently confirmed to launch on January 24, 2023, for the PS5 and PC. It also uses AMD FSR 2.0 technology to optimize the game’s performance on both PS5 and PC. The game is developed by Luminous Productions which previously worked on Final Fantasy XV.
