Early Dead Space Remake Video Revealed By Motive Studios

Some early Dead Space remake’s gameplay video has been revealed by Motive Studio in a live broadcast on Tuesday. According to both Creative Director Roman Campos-Oriola and Senior Producer Phillippe Ducharme, they have released this video so early because they want to interact with fans in order to get appropriate responses.

They stated that they are highly concerned about the Dead Space Remake and they know that there’s a lot that needs to be proved by EA. However, this early gameplay footage has demonstrated to everyone how meticulously the directors are working on the remake.

Here’s the complete live stream video in which the director’s revealed the early Dead Space remake gameplay footage:

As long as the horror aesthetic is maintained, this game might end up being one of the best Xbox horror games available. The directors have displayed a clear comparison with the original Dead Space in the early gameplay footage of the Dead Space remake.

According to the developer team, the combat in the Dead Space remake has also been enhanced. The Dead Space remake also has a new “Peeling” system, which displays damage chipping away at limbs or parts of Necromorph corpses without completely severing the limb, with the effect varying based on the weapon. The bone in a limb may be broken, but the rest of the limb is kept together by tendons and skin. The early gameplay video also shows an early version of this peeling with the automated Pulse Rifle.

Fight mechanics were introduced for the first time in Dead Space 2, and they will now be featured in the remake as well.

Gunner Wright, the voice actor who played Isaac Clarke in Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3, will reprise his role in the re-imagining. This indicates Isaac will have a voice during the events of the first game. According to the developer’s team, Isaac will only talk when other characters speak to him.

The new Dead Space will be released for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, but right now it’s under development. According to some rumors, the latest Dead Space will be released in 2022, however, there is no confirmed release date provided by the game’s officials yet.
