Developer “Sledgehammer Games” and Publisher “Activision have announced that the Call of Duty: Vanguard Playstation Alpha will be available from August 27 at 10:00 a.m. PT/ 1:00 p.m. ET through August 29 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET.
A new multiplayer mode “Champion Hill” will be introduced in the alpha. Here are all the details about alpha:
Call of Duty: Vanguard – Alpha
Alpha is a limited pre-release version of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Multiplayer, a little taste of the full game offered by the developer Sledgehammer Games. The developer will get feedback on a worldwide scale from the Call Of Duty: Vanguard Playstation Alpha this weekend, which will help them tune and improve the game’s Multiplayer before its forthcoming beta and launch.
Alpha will only introduce some of the game’s innovations, giving an opportunity to the players around the world to experience and test the Call of Duty: Vanguard. Players will explore reactive surroundings across Champion Hill’s four levels, establish new sightlines or catch a camper off guard by destroying destructible walls, doors, and other impediments.
Players will also be able to get their hands on some of the game’s weapons, including the ability to customize some with up to ten attachments. Players will be able to choose one of the four main characters – Lucas Riggs, Polina Petrova, Wade Jackson, and Arthur Kingsley to play as operators and enjoy the face-combat Multiplayer gameplay in Champion Hill.
A New Multiplayer Mode: Champion Hill:
Champion Hill is a new tournament-style, multi-map, and multi-life game mode introduced by Sledgehammer Games in Call Of Duty: Vanguard. During the Alpha, your squad will participate in a round-robin deathmatch tournament against other squads as Duo or Trio and reduce the life count of all other squads to zero before your whole squad is eliminated to win.

Just before the scheduled launch of the Alpha on August 27 at a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET, preloading will commence on August 23 at 3:00 a,m. PT / 6:00 a.m. ET.
