Fans are gearing up for the launch of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. We have outlined a method using which you can transfer your save data.
Sucker Punch, who are the developers behind Ghost of Tsushima, mentioned how you can easily transfer your save data in the game. This is still not easier than the Smart Delivery of the Xbox platform, but it is still better than nothing nonetheless.
How To Transfer Your PS4 Save Data To Ghost of Tsushima PS5
- Copy the save data from your PS4 to a storage device like a USB
- Copy it back to your PS5
- Boot Ghost of Tsushima after installing the 2.04 update and use the “Transfer PS4 Console Data” option on the main menu.
Note: If you have kept save data in the cloud, you need to download it locally on your PS5 before using the transfer option.
Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be a way to do it without a PS4. That is if you don’t have cloud-backed save data.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be released for PS4 and PS5 on August 20.
