The Last of Us Part 1 is one of the games that can be seen listed on the PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscription page.
Sony is rolling out the new PlayStation Plus subscription tiers in the rest of the world beginning with the USA and Europe. It is slowly being made available to other countries. One of the promotional banners appears to show The Last of Us Part 1 suggesting that it might arrive on the subscription.
While the new subscription offers several first-party games, Sony has confirmed that they have no plans to bring their games on day one to the service. As a result, it is not possible for The Last of Us Part 1 to launch on the service.
What can happen though is that there will be a game trial available for it. This is a possibility because even the newly released Horizon Forbidden West has a trial available for PS Plus Premium and Extra.
Here are the currently available games with a trial on the PS Plus Premium and Extra subscription.
- Horizon Forbidden West
- Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
- Cyberpunk 2077
- WWE 2K22
- Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
- Hot Wheels Unleashed
- LEGO City Undercover
- Biomutant
- Farming Simulator 22
- MotoGP 22
- Elex II
- Crusader Kings III
Based on the promotional banner, it is possible that we will end up seeing games like The Last of Us Part 1 and more going to the service as a game trial.
