The Last of Us Part 1 download size has been revealed and there is already a day-one patch available for the game.
Twitter account PlayStation Game Size has shared the download size of The Last of Us Part 1 including the day one patch. This will be required if you have brought the game digitally, and if you are getting a retail copy, you should download the update that is available at launch.
The download size of the game is around 68.008 GB while the pre-load will be up on August 26, or almost 1 week before the official launch on September 2. It appears to be lower than the required file size that was listed on the official website. However, there might be another patch for the game before it launches which is why it can be seen as a little under 70 GB.
In The Last of Us Part 1, we will see Joel and Ellie go on a journey to save humanity from an infection. The game was first released back in 2013 for PS3 and then later remastered for PS4. The latest release of the game is a full remake with revamped gameplay and graphics.
More importantly, it will be sold for $69.99 and launch exclusively on the PS5. There is no PS4 version for this remake. Based on early leaks, there does appear to be some new content even if it is minor.
