Sony Santa Monica Studio is delivering God of War to PC with improved features such as DLSS support, and others. The PS4 version, on the other hand, holds up nicely.
Although God of War was released nearly three years ago, it still looks fantastic. The game will have a better resolution and frame rate on PC, which will be achieved owing to the use of DLSS.
The God of War Steam page has a plethora of images that depict the game’s visuals on PC.
Here’s a comparison between the PC and PS4 versions.
On a PS4, the game runs at 1080p, whereas on a PC, it runs at 4K. The PS4 Pro and PS5 can support 4K resolution, however, they are not native 4K and instead employ a reconstruction process to upscale to 4K.
Nvidia DLSS and Reflex support, DualShock 4 and DualSense implementation, and High-fidelity visuals will be included in the PC version. It has a release date of January 14, 2022.
