Yasuyuki Kaji, the director of Granblue Fantasy: Relink, has announced that the game has officially gone gold. This announcement was made in an end-of-year interview with Famitsu, a popular gaming magazine in Japan. Kaji expressed his gratitude for the support that allowed the successful completion of the game’s development and is eagerly looking forward to the game’s reception by a diverse audience.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink aims to cater to new and seasoned action game fans with its balanced accessibility and depth. One of the game’s standout features is its multiplayer capability, allowing up to four players to join in on the action and adding a social aspect to the gaming experience.

The year 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the Granblue Fantasy series and the launch of Relink during this celebratory year is especially meaningful for Kaji. He is excited about this milestone and shares in the anticipation and joy of the community as they approach this landmark occasion.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is an action role-playing game developed by Cygames. It is an exciting addition to the Granblue Fantasy series and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC when it’s released on February 1, 2024.

The game’s journey began in August 2016, when it was announced as Granblue Fantasy Project Re: Link. This project initially saw a collaboration between PlatinumGames and Cygames, bringing together a team of esteemed contributors. Among them are composers Nobuo Uematsu and Tsutomu Narita and artist Hideo Minaba, whose collective talents promise a rich gaming experience. Relink shares its universe with the original Granblue Fantasy but distinguishes itself by exploring a new location and featuring some characters from the original game.
