KLab Inc., a frontrunner in the realm of online mobile gaming, has officially announced the commencement of the entry period for the Dream Championship 2023. This prestigious tournament, hosted exclusively online, aims to identify the world’s top player in their head-to-head football simulation game, “Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team.” The entry period began on Friday, September 8, and online qualifiers are slated to start on Friday, September 15.
About the Dream Championship
The Dream Championship is an annual event that debuted in 2019 and is now in its fifth iteration. It is an official tournament for players aged 18 and above, utilizing the mobile game “Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team,” available on the App Store, Google Play Store, and HUAWEI AppGallery.
Competition Format and Schedule
The tournament comprises multiple stages, starting with online qualifiers. Players who successfully navigate through Rounds 1 to 3 of the online qualifiers will proceed to the Final Regional Qualifiers. These qualifiers are divided into three blocks, each representing different global regions.
A total of 16 players will compete in the Dream Championship 2023 Finals. Fifteen players will be selected from the Final Regional Qualifiers, and they will be joined by last year’s champion. The finals are scheduled to be broadcast live on YouTube.
