In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players embark on the Regional Phenomena quest after receiving guidance from Purah.
This quest leads players in various directions, with Zora’s Domain being one of the key destinations. Zora’s Domain is home to Sidon and the Zora people, and it becomes the focal point of the “Sidon of the Zora” quest. This guide provides detailed instructions on reaching Zora’s Domain, initiating the “Sidon of the Zora” quest, and assisting Yona in repairing the armor and finding Sidon.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Sidon of the Zora Quest:
How to Reach Zora’s Domain and Start the ‘Sidon of Zora’ Quest:
There are multiple ways to reach Zora’s Domain. Players can trek up the mountains, follow the lantern-lit paths, or glide in if nearby Skyview Towers have been unlocked. The Upland Zorana Tower overlooks Zora’s Domain and serves as a helpful reference point, although it requires an armor piece obtained during this quest to complete.
How to Start the Sidon of Zora Quest:
Upon arriving at Zora’s Domain, interact with the marked stingray-head Zora character below. She will express concern about a muddy statue in front of her. Use a splash fruit to cleanse the mud off the statue, completing the “Sludge-Covered Statue” objective and initiating the “Sidon of the Zora” quest.
Helping Yona Repair the Armor and Finding Sidon:
After introducing yourself to Sidon’s fiancé, Yona, she will request that you meet her at the infirmary. It is recommended to fulfill this request. Yona will provide you with the Zora Armor, but first, you must obtain an ancient Arowana. The blacksmith downstairs can provide information on where to find one, but a convenient location is the ponds on the Great Sky Island, where you started the game.
The small floating ponds north and east of Nachoya Shrine contain plenty of ancient Arowanappp. Once you have the Zora Armor, equip it to gain the ability to swim up waterfalls. Use this newfound ability to easily access the Upland Zorana Tower to the west or head straight to Sidon in the north by swimming up the waterfalls at Mikau Lake and Lulu Lake (east of Zora’s Domain), leading to Mipha’s Court. Don’t forget to complete the nearby Ihen-a Shrine for convenient fast travel back to this location.
