The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” features the captivating main quest, Riju of Gerudo Town, which takes players on a thrilling journey filled with puzzles, battles, and the exploration of majestic landscapes.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Riju of Gerudo Town

1. To the North Gerudo Ruins: The quest begins by locating Chief Riju, who can be found training in the North Gerudo Ruins. Head north of Gerudo Town to reach the ruins located at coordinates -3769, -2646, 0032. Approach Chief Riju upon arrival. Note the presence of an air current at coordinates -3768, -2774, 0038, which can be used to bypass the sandstorm, although it is optional.
2. Practice the Lightning Strike: After finding Chief Riju, players must complete a tutorial centered around her lightning strike ability. Wait for the yellow orb that emanates from Chief Riju to reach the designated targets and shoot arrows at them in Tears of the Kingdom.
3. To Kara Kara Bazaar: The next objective is to travel to Kara Kara Bazaar, located east of the North Gerudo Ruins at coordinates -3181, -2550, 0027. Utilize the air currents to rise above the sandstorm, allowing a temporary view of the TotK maps to confirm the correct direction.
4. Defeat the Gibdos: Kara Kara Bazaar comes under attack, requiring players to defend it alongside Chief Riju. Employ the lightning strike ability by waiting for Chief Riju’s yellow orb to envelop the advancing groups of Gibdos, and shoot arrows at them. Destroy the purple orb attached to the Gibdo hive using lightning strike.
5. To Gerudo Town: Return southwest to Gerudo Town from Kara Kara Bazaar. Utilize air currents encountered while passing through the sandstorm to stay on track.

   

6. Work with Riju and the Others: Speak with Chief Riju at coordinates -3682, -2941, 0050, upon reaching Gerudo Town. The focus shifts to defending Gerudo Town against a Gibdo assault. Visit the throne room and engage in conversations with Riju and Buliara at coordinates -3888, -2964, 0051. Learn about Captain Teake and assign forces to specific gates by speaking with her in the west yard. Explore the other yard for valuable items, rupees, and Zonai devices.
7. Save Gerudo Town: After preparing for the defense, inform Chief Riju to initiate the defense of Gerudo Town. This defense sequence resembles the one in Kara Kara Bazaar. Destroy multiple Gibdo hives using lightning strike and prevent enemies from breaching the town’s defenses to avoid failure.
8. To the Mural in the Underground Shelter: With the Gibdo assault repelled, Chief Riju requests that TotK’s Link see a mural in the underground shelter. Access the shelter by speaking with the guard at coordinates -3869, -2948, 0033. The shelter is directly beneath the throne room.
9. Red Pillars Mural Puzzle: At the mural, players encounter a puzzle instructing them to locate “red pillars across a vast sea” and unite them in light to reveal the lightning stone. Follow these steps to complete the puzzle:
   1. Go to the throne room and position Link behind the throne, facing away from it.
   2. Utilize TotK’s Ultrahand ability to move the Sand Seal bust, revealing a tower in the distance.
   3. Proceed to the tower located at coordinates -4051, -3145, 0062.
   4. Use a TotK Bomb Flower to destroy the cracked rocks on the ground, sending a beam of light up to the tower’s mirror.
   5. Follow the path of the light beam to a pillar found at coordinates -4597, -3271, 0046. Use TotK’s Ascend ability to reach the top of the pillar.
   6. Push the crank at the top of the pillar to alter the position of the second tower and redirect the light.
   7. Track the light to the third tower situated at coordinates -4181, -3630, 0062. Destroy the cracked rocks on the ground using another Bomb Flower.
   8. Remove the square platform and wood block from the hole in the ground.
   9. Place the wood block on top of the platform, strike it to make it hover, and use Ultrahand to move it vertically.
   10. Ascend the tower, continuing to raise the platform using Ultrahand.
   11. Once on top of the tower, grab the wood block, attach it to the broken crank, and push it to reflect the light.
   12. Head to coordinates -4253, -3346, 0042, and use Riju’s lightning strike to hit the device that has emerged from the sand.

   Lightning Temple: Players will now stand before the Lightning Temple, a challenging dungeon with puzzles and difficult battles.
