Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Clues To The Sky Quest:

Clues to the Sky – Watery Bridge, land of the sky fish:

  1. After speaking to King Dorephan and obtaining the 5 King’s Scales, fast travel back to Mipha Court (Ihen-a Shrine).
  2. Solve the rest of the riddle from the broken slate. The riddle states: “Stand upon the land of the sky fish, and behold its lofty view. Among the floating rocks you see, a droplet waits for you. Through this droplet, shoot an arrow with the mark of the king. Do this task, and you shall reveal a most wondrous thing. See the watery bridge’s resting spot with your own two eyes… that which connects the Zora to the people of the skies.”
  3. Head west of Mipha Court to Upland Zorana Skyview Tower if you haven’t unlocked it yet.
  4. Look for a sky island shaped like a fish on your map, which can be seen after unlocking the Skyview Tower. It is located east of the shrine, at the edge of the mountain, and has a waterfall in front of it.
  5. Build a hot-air balloon using a balloon and platforms. Use the Ultrahand ability to construct the balloon if you have a source of fire.
  6. Glide to the sky island, aiming for the waterfall if you still have the Zora Armor equipped.
  7. Upon landing on Floating Scales Island, clean off the sludge with splash fruit and proceed to the center of the island.
  8. Stand at approximately coordinates 4073, 0530, 0604, and look southwest to spot a formation of rocks in the shape of a tear.
  9. Fuse a King’s Scale into your bow and shoot an arrow through the teardrop.
  10. The teardrop will light up, and a huge pillar of light will emerge from a nearby lake. Return to Mipha Court.

Defeat the miniboss:

  1. Talk to Sidon to learn your next destination but be prepared to face a miniboss encounter.
  2. Fight the Sludge Like miniboss, which is similar to previous Like Likes but covered in sludge.
  3. Use Sidon’s water-based ability or splash fruit arrows to clean off the sludge and expose the miniboss’s weak point in its mouth.
  4. Attack the weak point until the miniboss disappears into the ground. Repeat the process until it is defeated.

Where to find the Ancient Zora Waterworks in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom:

  1. After defeating the miniboss, Sidon will head towards the beam of light, indicating your next destination.
  2. Head up the stairs at Mipha Court to the south and dive into the East Reservoir Lake.
  3. Swim towards the blue pillar of light where Sidon is located on a piece of rubble in the muddy lake.
  4. Talk to Sidon, and he will create a whirlpool that allows you to go deep below the water’s surface.
  5. Dive into the whirlpool to reach the Ancient Zora Waterworks.

How to get through Wellspring Island in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom:

  1. Swim up the stairs and drop down to the pool below on the other side. From here, you’ll notice a drain covered by rocks.
  2. Use bombs or a hammer weapon to destroy the rocks and raise the water level, creating a path to the other side.
  3. Follow the path that leads to a large water-filled chamber with a tower in the center.
  4. Your objective is to reach the top of the tower, but the water level is currently too low.
  5.  You need to unblock some pipes to raise the water level.
    • Pipe #1 can be found to your left as soon as you enter the waterworks.
    • Drop down and land on one of the wooden planks.
    • Shoot a bomb arrow into the pipe hole to open it up.
    • For Pipe #2, head to the right where you’ll find planks of wood leading to a broken bridge.
    • Ascend the bridge and aim carefully with a bomb arrow or build a wooden slope to get a clean shot at the pipe.
    • Pipe #3 requires some exploration. Cross the brand-new bridge in the northwest part of the room and follow it until you reach a large pipe.
    • Enter the pipe either by ascending from below or through careful climbing. Inside, you’ll find an Opal.
    • Hop to the other side of the pipe and glide down to a smaller pipe on the lower floor.
    • Follow the path around the north and west until you reach a room with a dripping grate above you.
    • Use Ascend to pop out behind a rock-covered pipe.
    • Destroy the rocks to raise the water level to its maximum.
    • Leave the room by climbing the ladder to the left and use Ultrahand at the end of the path to flip a switch.
    • Head to the center and glide over to the Zonai terminal. Interact with it, and a huge waterfall will be called down from an island high above you.
    • You will automatically leave the waterworks and appear beside Sidon, where the waterfall is located.
    • Now equipped with your Zora Armor, jump into the waterfall and swim up to Wellspring Island.
    • Run ahead towards the large floating bubbles. Here, gravity is weaker, allowing you to jump much farther.
    • Hop into one of the bubbles and use it to reach the next platform.
    • Speak to Sidon, who is standing on the bridge, and he will run ahead, leaving you to navigate the island on your own.
    • To your left, you’ll find a bubble machine. Hop into one of the bubbles and ride it to an island to the north.
    • Follow the path until you reach three bubble dispensers in the air. Swim and hop over to each one, eventually reaching a larger platform.
    • Destroy the Construct on this platform and head up the stairs.
    • Follow the path up and around until you come across a Hydrant.
    • Fuse it to a shield to have a quick source of water.
    • Run through the sludge-covered area and use a splash fruit to clear the sludge from a small waterfall.
    • Swim up the waterfall and glide between the waterfall islands until you reach Igoshon Shrine.
    • Just past the shrine, you’ll spot some Wing Zonai devices.
    • Attach a Wing to the slope using Ultrahand and be catapulted forward. Ride it to the next platform.
    • Destroy the Construct in front of you and follow the path to the left, leading you to another chain of waterfall platforms.
    • Swim and glide through these platforms until you reach a large island infested with Constructs.
    • Defeat them all to uncover a chest containing the Soldier III Blade.
    • Climb up the broken pillar to the left of the chest and you’ll see giant bubbles approaching the edge of the platform.
    • Use Recall on one of these bubbles and ride it back to the opposite island.
    • On the next island, you’ll find a pair of small staircases with a cap between them and a bubble machine pushing bubbles towards a flat wall.
    • Use the stone platform and Ultrahand to pop it open, revealing a hidden passage.
    • Enter the passage and continue along the path until you reach a large open area with a glowing platform at the center.
    • Step onto the glowing platform, and it will lift you up into the air, carrying you to the top of a magnificent tower.
    • At the summit, you’ll find the source of the watery bridge that connects the Zora to the people of the skies: the Celestial Pond.
    • Take a moment to appreciate the breathtaking view from the top of the tower.
    • The vast expanse of Zora’s Domain stretches out before you, while the floating islands in the sky create a mesmerizing sight.
    • It truly is a place where land and sky converge. Approach the edge of the tower, and you’ll notice a pedestal with a glowing symbol.
    • This is the mark of the king mentioned in the riddle. Equip a King’s Scale to your bow and fire an arrow through the symbol.
    • As the arrow pierces the air, it glows with a radiant light, and a magical bridge forms, connecting the tower to a distant floating island.
    • Cross the bridge with caution, as there may be challenges and enemies awaiting you on the other side.
    • Navigate the floating rocks, utilizing your gliding abilities and Zora Armor to maneuver through the treacherous gaps and obstacles.
    • As you make your way across the sky islands, you’ll encounter various creatures native to this ethereal realm.
    • Some may pose a threat, so be prepared to defend yourself with your weapons and abilities.
    • Eventually, you’ll arrive at a hidden sanctuary known as the Ancient Zora Waterworks.
    • This ancient structure holds the key to unlocking the mysteries of Zora’s Domain and the connection to the people of the skies.
    • Prepare yourself for the next phase of your journey as you step into the Ancient Zora Waterworks, ready to unravel the secrets that lie within its hallowed halls.
