A little girl has to find out how she got herself out of an unfamiliar and dark woodland as soon as possible, but she has no clue how she got there. As she looks for a way to break free, she is confronted by an unknown person who claims to be a stranger and tells her that she is cursed. She must make her way through the shadowy streets of her hometown in order to break the spell, and as she does so, she must look for the memories that she has lost along the route. If the young woman wants to break her curse and survive long enough to do it, she will have to run away, hide, and keep her eyes closed in order to avoid the evil spirits who reside in the shadows.
In Yomawari, you may put an end to your previous worries by customizing your character’s appearance with new clothing, jewelry, and hair color. You should use whatever measures are required to make it through the night, but you shouldn’t actively seek out problems. Make use of your torchlight to search for hidden stuff and probe the supernatural. Keep an ear out for any warnings, check your pulse, and try this new method of closing your eyes to fend off the gaze of any malevolent spirits.
