How to Equip Weapon Skins in The Ascent?
There are two ways to equip weapon Skins in The Ascent:
- The Grafter: The Grafter is a merchant in Cluster 13 who works in the “GRAFTING” building. He’s on the bottom floor, near the elevator, near the White Dragon Noodle Bar and the Morgue. You’ll need to visit The Grafter and The Morgue for two early side quests, so do so as soon as possible. The Grafter is in charge of re-specializing your skills, selling upgrades, and making cosmetic modifications like this. After greeting the grafter, click “Go to Operation,” which will offer a menu with choices for changing your whole look, including tattoos, haircuts, and weapon skin. Finally, on the far right, choose “Style” and on the bottom left, choose “Weapon Skin.” A drop-down menu with all of the possible weapon skins will display. From here, you may select the skin of your heart’s choice.
- Gunsmith: On your map, the gunsmith will be devoted with a hammer. Go to the Gunsmith and interact with the merchant. You can then select the skin you have gathered. This will apply the skin you’ve chosen to all of your weapons.
Weapon Skins Bug in The Ascent:
Unfortunately, when you exit the game, the weapon skin will be removed due to a glitch in the game. You may avoid this issue by equipping the weapon skin you choose so that it does not disappear when you exit the game. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved later.
