You must first complete the “A Healer and Her Patients” main story quest for Shionne to unlock The Mysterious Pair Side Quest. Once you complete Go to Niez in the Mahag Saar region and talk to Wonder Bard to start The Mysterious Pair quest.
When you will talk to Wonder Bard he will ask you to find the location of a legendary instrument by solving a riddle. Once you accept his terms, he will give you three Wonder Texts to solve. The first one says “Just beyond the hovels in a land shrouded by sand and stone.” The Second one says “The northernmost reaches of a wasteland to the north of an abandoned village.” and the last one says “It lies dormant at the back of a narrow road to the west, whereupon an ancient tower stands.”
You will have solve these Wonder Texts to know the location of the legendary instrument. Go to the Calaglia and then head to the north part of the Iglia Wastes. Check out of the map below to know the exact location.
When you reach the location marked on the map above, you will find some bushes. There will be a shining item inside the bushes. Interact with the bushes and you will get the legendary instrument “Iron Pipe.” Return to Wander Bard and hand him over the Iron Pipe to complete the quest. He will give you 2300 Gald, 15 SP and Quivering Candles as a reward for completing the Mysterious Pair side quest.
