With the release of the new Modern Warfare 2, a new level cap also arrived. This level cap is much more challenging than the other ones. Here are all the details you need to know about the Max level in COD: MW2:
- Modern Warfare 2 has a level cap of 55 and players can continue onto seasonal levels which are linked to Prestige Ranks.
- Seasonal levels go up to 50 and Prestige Ranks will reset when a new season drops.
- Once a player reaches the level cap, they can “Prestige” their account.
- This will reset their level back to one, but they will unlock a special icon and receive a bonus tailored towards new players such as double experience.
- In order to “Prestige” again, players must first reach the seasonal level cap of 50.
- Players can link their Modern Warfare 2 account with their Facebook account to receive updates on their progress, including when they Prestige.
