The playable demo for the Resident Evil 4 Remake is now available on both consoles and PC. It offers some secrets like a secret weapon and an exclusive difficulty setting for the demo.
To access the hidden weapon, namely the TMP, in the Resident Evil 4 Remake demo, please follow the simple steps mentioned below:
- Play through the game normally until you reach the basement where you will encounter the first Ganado.
- Defeat the Ganado and open your inventory. Discard all the items inside and refrain from picking up any items thereafter.
- Proceed to the village section of the game.
- Once there, you will notice that the well at the opposite end of the cow is now open. Descend into the well and locate the blue chest containing the TMP and some ammunition, along with a kitchen knife hidden inside one of the barrels.
In order to unlock the exclusive difficulty known as “Mad Chainsaw Mode”, please note that there is no guaranteed method to gain access to it. As it is triggered randomly, it may require some patience on your part. The most reliable way to activate it is by closing the demo and relaunching it. It is important to keep in mind that if you fail during your “Mad Chainsaw Mode” run, you will lose access to it and will need to restart the game in order to attempt to access it once again.
