Resident Evil 4 Remake – The Headless Statue Puzzle:

Here’s how to solve the headless statue puzzle in RE4 Remake:

Step 1: Retrieve the Goat Head Statue

Head upstairs and take the right door to the gallery. As you walk across the bridge, an enemy will pull a lever, lowering the bridge to ground-floor level. You’ll then have to fight off a group of enemies, so toggle the Ashley commands to give Leon space as needed. Once you’ve killed all the enemies in the area, use the ladder to head up to the platform with the lever. Defeat the masked cultist in red to stop the psychological effects of Leon’s parasite.

Now, pull the lever to raise the bridge and head back upstairs to grab the goat head statue. As you do, a few more enemies will appear at the end of the bridge. Quickly defeat them with a powerful weapon like the Stingray rifle to save ammo.

Step 2: Retrieve the Lion Head Statue

Use the map to follow the path round upstairs to the door opposite the gallery. Follow the corridor around into the blue-lit zone containing the lion head location. Drop into the room below to grab the lion head statue, but be prepared to face Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Armadura enemies in waves as soon as you collect it.

After you’ve defeated all the Armaduras, catch Ashley and open the doorway together, heading back to the main Grand Hall corridor.

Step 3: Solve the Dining Room Puzzle to Retrieve the Serpent Head Statue

Head downstairs to the dining room to find the serpent head locked inside a display cabinet. To unlock the cabinet and retrieve the serpent head statue, you’ll need to solve a puzzle involving the regal paintings on the wall.

Take a close look at the paintings and their details. You’ll need to seat Ashley and Leon on the correct chairs at the dining table by matching what’s shown in the paintings to the seat. Ring the bell when seated to open the cabinet.

When you’ve found the right solution, the cabinet will open, and you can grab the snake head. Return to the headless statue to fit the final piece.

Step 4: Complete the Chapter

Fitting the final piece onto the headless statue completes the first part of Chapter 9 in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Now, it’s time to continue the chapter by playing as Ashley to complete it.

So, the headless statue puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake can be challenging, but by following these steps, you should be able to retrieve all three heads and complete the puzzle.
