There are several new mounts added in Lost Ark along with Ark pass which is a sort of a battle pass found in modern games. Recently a new mount has been added called the Soul Vanguard along with the Dark Vanguard which is merely a reskin with no significant modifications.
The Dark Vanguard has dark fur with even darker stripes than the Soul Vanguard, which is a white tiger with black stripes. They are creatures who, according to legends, guide others to different worlds after they die. Here are their abilities listed below:
- Roar: It can be used to frighten enemies from a distance.
- Energy: It causes an AoE of harmful energy to be released.
- Eating: It helps the tiger to recover by devouring rice cakes.

- You must go through the Ark Pass to obtain the Soul Vanguard and Dark Vanguard mounts.
- You can both of these as rewards in the tenth level of the free tier.
- You can get it for free without any need of purchasing the pass.
- You will just have to reach level 10 in Ark pass by completing certain missions.
- Once you reach level 10 you can claim and equip the mounts from your inventory
