Hogwarts Legacy, the recently released action role-playing game set in the wizarding world, is a treat for fans of Harry Potter.
The game allows players to explore the wizarding world and attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a student. One of the main attractions of the game is the opportunity to use Dark Arts spells, including the Unforgivable Curses. These spells are the most powerful and dark spells in the wizarding world and are generally forbidden. However, in Hogwarts Legacy, players can unlock and use these curses.
Hogwarts Legacy – All Unforgivable Curses:
The Unforgivable Curses in Hogwarts Legacy are Crucio, Imperious, and Avada Kedavra. Crucio, also known as the Torture Curse, greatly depletes the health of the target. Imperious, also known as the Mind-Control Curse, allows the player to control their enemies and make them attack each other. Avada Kedavra, also known as the Killing Curse, kills the enemy with a single hit.
To obtain all Unforgivable Curses, players will have to complete Sebastian Sallow’s optional Dark Legacy questline. The first step is to complete “Welcome to Hogsmeade” by defending the village from an Armored Troll. After that, players will receive a letter from Sebastian Sallow through their Owl Posts in the Pause Menu. Here’s how to unlock each curse:
- Crucio (Cruciatus Curse) – To get this spell, players will have to complete the side quest “In the Shadow of the Study.” The player will need to head to Slytherin’s Scriptorium and find a door that requires the use of Crucio. Players must be at least Level 16 to get this spell.
- Imperio (Imperius Curse) – To get Imperio, players will have to start the side quest “In the Shadow of Time.” Players will have to find the Ancient Relic to unlock the second Unforgivable Curse. Players must be at least Level 17 to attempt this quest.
- Avada Kedavra (Killing Curse) – To get this spell, players will have to complete the side quest “In the Shadow of the Relic.” Players will have to reach a cave full of Inferi and defeat a special boss to get this final Unforgivable Curse. Players must be at least Level 28 to attempt this quest.
If players want to experience the dark side of magic in Hogwarts Legacy, they can obtain the Unforgivable Curses by completing Sebastian Sallow’s optional Dark Legacy questline. These spells are the most powerful and darkest spells in the wizarding world, but in Hogwarts Legacy, players can use them to defeat their enemies and explore the game’s world.
