GOW a sequel of GOW III won a game of the year title in 2018, and now it has been released for PC. But since its release, several players are experiencing several different issues. So we have made this guide to tell you how to fix all of these GOW issues on PC.
God of War – Fixes For Crashing, Stuttering, Lag Freezing, and Black Screen Issues:
There are different fixes that you can try to fix these issues in God of War. Below we have mentioned all the fixes that you can try to fix the Crashing, Stuttering, Lag, Freezing, and Black Screen issues:
- Try to restart your PC and then play the game again to check if your game still crashes. If the issue persists then try the next fix.
- Try to run your game as an administrator. Right-click on the GOW icon and then select the settings option from there. Go to the compatibility tab and check on the run as administrator option.
- Check if your graphics drivers are updated or not. If they are not updated then download the latest graphic drivers from the official AMD or Nvidia websites.
- Try Disabling your Antivirus as it slows down your PC because it runs continuously to prevent any viruses to enter your computer. So whenever you are playing the game, just disable it and then enable it again when you are done playing.
- Change the game priority to high from your Task Manager as it will help your game to perform better. Follow the instructions below to change the Game Priority:
⇒ Open Task Manager and then click on the Details Tab. Look for God of War and then right-click on it and select priority. Change the priority to high from the list of options. - Try Verifying God of War Game files on Steam/Epic Games. If you are playing the game on Steam then Launch it and click on Library and open GOW properties by right-clicking on it. Open the Local Files Sections and then select verify Integrity of game files. If you are playing it on Epic Games then open it and navigate to your Library and Click on the three dots on the bottom left of GOW. From there Select Verify, try playing the game again once the files are verified and repaired.
