Aliens: Fireteam Elite was released on August 24 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It’s a third-person co-op shooter game. When players start playing the game, they will have to choose one of the four classes available: Gunner, Demolisher, Technician, and Doc. There are difference between each class such as strengths and weakness. For starters, the best classes are Gunner and Demolisher. However, one class “Recon” is hidden and players will have to unlock this class in the game. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock the Recon class in Aliens: Fireteam Elite.
How to Unlock Recon Class in Aliens: Fireteam Elite?
At the start of the game, you won’t be able to see the Recon Class, as it won’t be visible in the Loadout Kits menu. But if you look at the achievements or trophies list, you will know about this fifth hidden class “Recon.”
You will have to simply complete the main campaign of Aliens: Fireteam Elite to unlock the Recon Class. There are 12 missions included in this campaign that you will have to complete. You can complete these missions on any difficulty, and you can also complete it without playing with your friends. Once you finish the last task, the Recon class and a new Horde Mode will be unlocked.
You must level it up to have access to its class-specific bonuses and abilities. This class comes with a pulse rifle and a submachine gun from the start. There are two unique abilites in this class. PUPS (Parameter Uplink Spectograph) is its first unique ability that helps you to temporarily reduce your enemies’ damage by 20% and it also reveal the enemies that are near to you. When used with the Red is Dead Recon Perk, you and your squad will deal 10% more damage to the disclosed target.
The Support Drone is this class’s second unique ability, allowing you to replenish surrounding teammates’ ammunition and offer computer-assisted combat stats, boosting their accuracy and stability by 20%. When your teammates kill an opponent, they will receive some healing. You will be able to keep your fireteam fed and kill Xenos throughout any mission, if you combine this ability with the Universal Core Perk.
This class has another Perk “Focus” of its own, which boosts accuracy and stability by 10% for every two headshot kills in 10 seconds. It has the ability to be stacked three times.
That’s everything you need to know about how to unlock the Recon Class in Aliens: Fireteam Elite.
