Octopath Traveler II has six Battle-Tested weapons: a blade, spear, dagger, axe, bow, and staff. Each weapon belongs to a specific NPC. Some NPCs appear after story events, and you need a Path Action to obtain each weapon.
Battle-Tested weapon locations
- Blade: Complete Hikari’s story first. Then revisit Bandelam on the hill south of Crackridge and use a Path Action to obtain the blade.
- Spear: Return to Ku and speak with Mikka. Benkei then appears; use a Path Action to obtain the spear.
- Dagger: Complete the related Castti quest in Winterbloom. Then find Plukk in the mansion garden and use a Path Action to obtain the dagger.
- Axe: Find Shirlutto at the entrance to the Wandering Wood, near the Nameless Village. Use a Path Action to obtain the axe.
- Bow: After Ochette’s story, find Cohazeh on the east side of Beasting Village. Use a Path Action to obtain the bow.
- Staff: After Partitio’s story, find Roque in Oresrush, near Partitio’s father. Use a Path Action to obtain the staff.
How to obtain them
Use the Path Actions available to your party to purchase or steal each weapon from its NPC. Some NPCs require more story progress or a higher level before the action succeeds.
