The quickest reliable ways to earn Galleons in Hogwarts Legacy are opening Eye Chests, selling unwanted gear, selling rescued beasts, and completing quests. There is no gambling minigame in the game.
Open Eye Chests
Cast Disillusionment before approaching an Eye Chest so it does not spot you. Each chest contains 500 Galleons.
Sell unwanted gear
Sell clothing and gear you no longer need to any shop that buys equipment. Check your inventory first so you do not sell a piece you still use.
Sell rescued beasts
After unlocking the Nab-Sack, rescue beasts and take them to Brood and Peck in Hogsmeade. That is the shop where captured beasts can be sold.
Complete quests
Side quests can reward Galleons. When a quest lets you negotiate a reward, check the dialogue options before accepting.
