According to a fresh rumor, the Infamous series will return shortly and will make a debut during the PlayStation Showcase.
The PlayStation Showcase has been scheduled for September 9th. This event will unveil several first-party titles on the PS5, as well as third-party releases. Forspoken is one among the speculated announcements for this event, while Infamous is another.
Earlier this summer, the domain name for the Infamous website was updated. This couldn’t be a major hint towards a reveal, but according to Nick, a reliable insider, there’s a chance Sony may announce a new Infamous project at PlayStation Showcase.
Sucker Punch published Infamous Second Son, followed by an expansion, First Light, with the launch of the PlayStation 4. The series debuted on the PlayStation 3 with two games and a tiny downloadable expansion.
