Abandoned is an upcoming PS5 exclusive from Blue Box Game Studios. Some details from this project have supposedly leaked online. The leaked data includes a motion capture video from the project, a partial script, and a brand new screenshot of a brick wall.
The leak was spotted by a dedicated fan on Reddit who was supposedly in contact with the creator of the game, Hasan Kahraman. It was verified by the moderators of the subreddit. It was also mentioned by the co-founder of Xbox Era, Nick, that a leak has been spotted for the game that appears to showcase the whole script and more.
First, there is a mocap video that shows the animation for the healing process. While the game is in first-person, the motion capture shows an animated body in third-person view. It is labeled as being shoot in the leg and patching up which hints that there will be fights with other human enemies in the game itself.
There is also a screenshot of an in-game script floating. Honestly, it would be better to just read it because the script sounds absurd for a lack of a better word. It feels too over the top but again this is what most would have expected for Abandoned.
Lastly, there is a screenshot from the game that appears to showcase a man shining a flashlight on a brick wall. It is set in the dark like most of the Abandoned screenshots so it is kind of hard to make out what is even happening here.
Abandoned did get a PS5 demo that only managed to play a small teaser. It was supposed to get an update that would have allowed a proper demo but that hasn’t happened for a long time now making it feel like the project has been Abandoned by its creator.
