Retail copies of Gran Turismo 7 began to be distributed early. Because the game will be available in less than 24 hours, a day one patch will be available.
If we exclude the size of the day one patch, Gran Turismo 7 is approximately 90 GB. After installing the patch, the game’s file size increases to 107 GB, which is quite a lot, especially if you have no other external SSD installed on your PS5. Because there is a lot of space for a game that will most likely stay on your hard disc, you may need to get one.
We don’t have the patch notes for this update, but reviewers who had early access to the game were told that some of the issues they encountered during the review process may have been resolved. As a result, it is possible that this patch will resolve these issues in time for the game’s release.
Gran Turismo 7 will be released on the PlayStation 5 with two different display modes. There is a ray-tracing mode, which we discussed previously, as well as a performance mode. Unfortunately, the ray-tracing mode does not run the game with full ray-tracing in gameplay and only applies to specific scenarios, such as replays or photo mode. The performance mode runs at 60 frames per second but uses standard reflections rather than ray-traced ones.
Gran Turismo 7 will be released on March 4, 2022, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
