Atomic Heart has received a day one update 1.01 along with patch notes for the game before it launches later in February.
Atomic Heart is from Mundfish, a new independent studio based in Cyprus. The game is inspired by Bioshock and System Shock franchises and it is set in an alternative reality where the Soviet Union managed to win the world war with the help of advanced robotics. It is a sci-fi game with first-person gameplay elements.
The first update for Atomic Heart is already available on PlayStation servers giving the game a day-one patch of roughly 20 GB. This update has the following patch notes as noted on OrbisPatches.
- Multiple Bugfixes and improvements
This is a pretty beefy update in terms of file size. The game itself hasn’t received a file or download size yet because it is still nearly one month away, but the day-one patch is apparently available for those who have early access to the game. It is possible that more updates might be released later as the game gets closer to launch.
