Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Yiga Armor Set Location:
Yiga Armor Chest Piece Location:
To find the Yiga Armor chest piece, venture into a Yiga Clan hideout located in the Akkala Highlands. Enter through the Depths, and a recommended starting point is the East Akkala Plains Chasm at coordinates (3986, 2155, 0021). Utilize the nearby Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower to reach this location. Head northeast from there, using the Akinatanis Lightroot northwest of your landing spot as a reference. Be cautious of the Obsidian Frox creatures and dispel the gloom with the lightroot. Continue northeast until you spot another lightroot in the distance. As you approach it, you’ll come across a large area with gloom and a Zonai device post. Safely navigate through the area and reach the Ui-ihcoj Lightroot. Activate it to reveal the location of the armor piece, which is situated near a monolith surrounded by a lake. Take the path to the right, climb, and use your paraglider to land safely. Once underneath the monolith, ascend to access the Yiga Clan hideout. Defeat two Yiga Clan members and interact with Konba to obtain the Yiga Armor chest piece, providing 1 defense and a stealth boost.
Yiga Armor Legs Piece Location:
The Yiga Tights can be found in the Yiga Clan Maritta Branch, a cave located in the Aldor Foothills at coordinates (-0643, 2032, 0157). This cave is southeast of the Snowfield Stable at the Tabantha Tundra and west of the Great Hyrule Forest. Although there isn’t a direct tower for this location, either Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower or Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower will bring you close enough. Once inside the cave, engage in combat with two Yiga Clan members. Defeat them using similar tactics as before. After defeating them, use Ascend to reach a secret room where a kidnapped tailor awaits rescue. Stand next to the table with materials in the center of the cave and look towards the entrance. Aim at the ceiling to spot a hole leading to an attic. Use Ascend near the hole and reach the tailor. Engage in a conversation, and you will acquire the Yiga Tights, providing 1 defense and stealth for Link.
Yiga Armor Head Piece Location:
The Yiga Mask can be found in an unnamed Yiga Clan shack located at coordinates (-0800, -2255, 0087), northwest of Lake Hylia in the Faron region. Use either the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower or Popla Foothills Skyview Tower to approach the area. The shack is south of the Temple of Time Ruins, near the Great Plateau. If you have encountered the Great Plateau South Chasm, it is northeast of that location. The hideout is protected by two spiked fences, but there are plateaus around it that allow you to bypass one of the fences with a quick jump and the use of your paraglider. Look for open entrances around the second fence, but be cautious of the spikes. Enter the shack by knocking on the door. Before interacting with the door, ensure you have switched your armor or healed yourself if needed.
Upon knocking on the door, two Yiga Clan members will appear. Defeat them using your preferred strategy and enter the shack when you’re ready. Inside, you will find the third and final tailor. Engage in a brief conversation with them, and they will present you with the Yiga Mask. This head piece adds 1 defense to Link’s arsenal and grants him stealth abilities.
With all three pieces of the Yiga Armor set in your possession, Link gains a significant advantage in stealth and the ability to blend in with the Yiga Clan. Use this newfound power wisely as you navigate the vast world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, unraveling its secrets and facing the challenges that lie ahead.
Remember, the Yiga Armor set not only enhances Link’s stealth but also provides a defense boost, making it a valuable asset in combat situations. Take advantage of its capabilities to gain the upper hand against enemies and explore hidden areas with ease. Whether you obtained the armor through careful exploration or by following this guide, embrace the power of the Yiga Clan and embark on unforgettable adventures in the realm of Hyrule.
