To find all three pieces of the treasure map, you need to explore various islands and coordinates. One piece of the map can be found at the H4 coordinate, between The Marrows and Stellar Basin. Another piece can be found at the G4 coordinate, on the island in Stellar Basin. The last piece can be found at the D3 coordinate, also on an island in Stellar Basin. Once you have gathered all three pieces of the map, you can assemble them to reveal the location of the Sunken Treasure.
After arranging the pieces of the map, you will find that the location of the treasure is not too far from where you currently are. The treasure is located in Stellar Basin, at the C3 coordinate, where ‘X’ marks the spot. However, if you’re early in the game and don’t have the proper tool to retrieve the treasure, all your hard work may be for naught.
To retrieve the treasure, you need to progress through the game’s story. First, you need to bring the Aberrant fish to the Fishmonger at Greater Marrow. Next, you will obtain a handkerchief and receive a request to go toward Blackstone Isle. In the mansion on Blackstone Isle, the mysterious Collector will give you a quest to retrieve five relics that are scattered around the map.
To collect the relics, the Collector will install an upgrade, the Dredge Crane, in your boat. This tool allows you to pull objects from beneath the deep ocean spots. Similarly, once you have the Dredge Crane, it will be easy to pull out the Sunken Treasure at the C3 coordinate. The treasure chest will be bound by a chain underneath the water, which is visible from the surface.
