Trinity Trigger is an action role-playing game that combines the look and feel of iconic RPGs of the ‘90s with a modern emphasis on fast-paced, customizable combat.
The game follows the story of Cyan, a young man burdened by the gods with the mantle of Warrior of Chaos and an inevitable clash against the Warrior of Order. Together with his companions Elise and Zantis, they will set out on a grand adventure to defy fate and save Trinitia. In Trinity Trigger, players will have the opportunity to master the weapons of the gods by solving puzzles and defeating enemies alone or with friends in local co-op. The game features towers made from the fallen weapons of the gods, known as Arma, which players will need to traverse to progress through the story. Each Arma is filled with dungeons that players will need to explore to uncover the secrets of Trinitia.
Players will need to seek out Trinitia’s mysteries by exploring every last bit of the diverse biomes that make up the world. This will involve chatting with townsfolk to uncover the heavily guarded secrets held in the forests, deserts, snowfields, and more. The game encourages exploration and rewards players for taking the time to uncover all of its secrets.
Combat is a significant component of Trinity Trigger, and players will need to make expert use of the weapon wheel to change between eight weapon types on the fly. Every enemy has a weakness, and finding and exploiting it is the key to victory. The game encourages players to experiment with different weapon types to find the most effective strategies.
