In Resident Evil Re: Verse, the third-person, over-the-shoulder action in the multiplayer mode is played with the characters from the Resident Evil franchise. The competition lasts for five minutes, during which time players compete in teams of four to six utilizing whatever weapons and things they have discovered on the playing field. Each of the human characters has unique abilities as well as weaponry that they have developed for themselves.
Humans who have been weaponized have the potential to alter the flow of battle, and players may hasten their transformation by employing virus capsules. Assuming that the Bioweapon has been neutralized, the player will once again take on the form of a human.
