Octopath Traveler II has four secret jobs that players can unlock: inventor, armsmaster, conjurer, and arcanist.
Unlike advanced jobs in the first game, these secret jobs are not unlocked by defeating bosses. Instead, players must interact with specific NPCs to unlock them. Here is a guide on where to find and unlock each of the four secret jobs in Octopath Traveler 2.

Here’s how to unlock all the four secret jobs in the game:
- Inventor: The Inventor job can be unlocked by finding the Inventor Guild in the northeast part of Eastern New Delsta Highroad. Interact with the NPC inside the guild to unlock the job. To unlock Inventor skills, players will need to find specific key items, rather than using Job Points (JP).
- Armsmaster: The Armsmaster job can be unlocked by finding the NPC Gontrand in Marsalim. Gontrand can be found in the tavern located in the northwest part of the city. Talk to him to unlock the job. Armsmaster skills can be unlocked using JP like other jobs.
- Conjurer: The Conjurer job can be unlocked by finding the NPC Lyblac in Duskbarrow. Lyblac is located in the center of the town. Talk to her to unlock the job. Conjurer skills can be unlocked using JP like other jobs.
- Arcanist: The Arcanist job can be unlocked by finding the NPC Cordelia in Wellspring. Cordelia is located in the lower part of the town. Talk to her to unlock the job. Arcanist skills can be unlocked using JP like other jobs.

Players can unlock the Inventor job by finding the Inventor Guild in the northeast part of Eastern New Delsta Highroad.
