• First of all, return to the menu as you will be taken away from the Main Menu when you log into Kirby’s DB.
• So you will have to roll straight away to the menu as it is just ahead and hit the A button.
• You can play Kirby’s DB in different modes, and each of these modes has some form of multiplayer.
• You can locally play with one of your friends in the Battle mode on the same console.
  • This mode only allows you to play with only one friend at a time locally on the same console or local play with 3 friends on a separate console.
• If you play the game’s online mode, you will be able to play it with your friends from all over the globe.
  • You will get two choices when you start playing the online mode.
    • A Random Match
    • A Password Match.
  • If you want to play it with your friend from any place on the globe you must select a Password Match.
    • The Password Match will allow you to create an online lobby with your friends.
    • Set a Password up to 10 characters and share it with your friends only so that your space remains private and no outsider joins your room.
  • After that you will have to choose a mode from the following to play with your friends:
    • Gourmet Grand Prix.
    • Free Rolling.
  • In Gourmet Grand Prix, you will have to race with your friend to consume the most food and grow their Kirby to the largest size possible.
  • In Free Rolling mode, you will be able to practice with the powers and work on the controls.
• The participants will only get two minutes to connect before the round starts while playing online which is the biggest disadvantage of this game mode.
• If anyone isn’t been able to connect within the two-minute limit, the match will start and computer players will fill in the empty player slots.
• You and your friend can accumulate points toward your rank and receive incentives for leveling up.
• If you play the Gourmet Grand Prix with your friends instead of random players you will be able to earn a 1.8x bonus.
• You can change the mode after each round and you can easily exit the lobby and leave the game when you are done playing it with your friends.
• You can return to the Home Table Hub by simply pressing the (-) minus button on your controller.
