Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak – Follower Quests:

  • If you don’t want to battle a monster alone but don’t have a squad to hunt with, these new creatures are an excellent option, as these tasks are indefinitely repeated.
  • After finishing the Assault of the Scarlet Tengu quest, your first follower quest will become available.
  • In the first quest, you will have to find a Blood Orange Bishaten.
  • There will be several NPCs that will have colored dialog bubbles over their heads when you return to Elgado.
  • Those NPCs who have Purple balloons over their heads will give you a follower quest.
  • You will have to talk to the NPC to activate the quest.
  • The first quest is MR2 (Fruit Vs Firearms), in which you hunt a normal Bishaten, this time with Heavy Bowgun user Dame Luchika.
  • You will get a Royal Order’s Bowgun diagram, and a Rarity Heavy Bowgun as a reward by completing it.
  • More NPCs in Eldgado and Kamura will want your help on Follower quests when you reach the Master Ranks.
  • You will get a new Royal Order Weapon design which unlocks a new tree in the Smithy window for that weapon by completing many of these quests.
  • You will need Royal Order Certificates of increasing rarities to craft Royal Order Weapons.
  • You will get high rarity certificates by completing Higher MR Follower quests, which you can use to craft high rarity weapons and armors that belong to Royal NPCs.
  • Midway through the first part of the Sunbreak campaign, you will discover a new form of Follower Quest: Support Surveys.
  • You can invite two of your NPC buddies along for the mission and pick which weapon they use,
  • You will have to fight many monsters in Support Surveys, so if you have a helping hand it will be easier for you.
  • You will also get Royal Order Certificates as well as the tangible benefits you would anticipate from a monster hunt.
