Complete Guide to the Deep Trouble Quest in Horizon Forbidden West
This quest starts in the NorthWest side of the Landing lift of the Daunt Mountains. You will see 2 Miners working and smoking there. Interact with the leader of the miners and he will tell you that with some explosion in the mines there is some flood starting from there and some miners are stuck there and we need to save those miners.
1. Find the Missing Miners
- When you are done talking to the miner’s leader, enter into the mine and you will come across the flooded point.
- Then you need to find the cave opening in the water. Always check your oxygen level while you are under the water.
- You need to find the way outside the water and when you are out you will see the missing miners that we came to rescue.
2. Talk to the Missing Miners
- After finding those 2 missing miners go to interact with them so you know the next step.
- Miners will tell you that one of them is injured and he needs to go back as soon as possible for treatment.
- Then they will ask you to blast the area that is holding the water.
3. Dain the Mine
- Now as they requested to clear the water you need to go back under the water.
- Now under the water, you will find the tracks that can lead you to the interior cave. Go there and then you will come back up from the water and find another big cave entrance.
- There you can see the Explosives. Now you need to track the structure and climb it up.
- After climbing up there you will find the cave of Burrowers. There you can go through there silently or you can kill them your choice.
- After that, you will go further in the cave till you come across a ladder and you can drop that.
- Now check you will see a Wooden Beam. You just need to pull that and climb on it.
- There you can get access to the Explosives. Press the button to Detonate the Explosives.
- With that, all the water will be drained out.
4. Return to the Miners
- Now go back to the missing miners so you can help them.
- There will be some enemies along the way that you need to defeat.
- After defeating those enemies you will see your way back is blocked so use Pulcaster to open your way.
- Now you can get back the miners easily
5. Return to Korvend/Leader
- Now water is drained and it’s time to go back to the leader of the miner so we can complete our quest.
- After exiting, in the next scene, it will show Korvend will be attending to the injured and you will talk to him again.
- After you are done talking to him the quest will be over.
Don’t forget to get all the crates across the place and under the water to get a good reward.
