God Of War Ragnarok Skill System: How Does It Work?
Here’s how the skill system works in GOW: Ragnarok:
- Unlike the last game, you won’t have to grind for XP before upgrading and improving every skill in the skill tree.
- While you do need to spend your earned XP to unlock new skills, it’ll be used for upgrading specific types of labor depending on what weapon type or style you want – from melee weapons or ranged weapons.
- Speaking of which, there are three different Skill Trees for Kratos.
- one each for Technique, Ranged, and Melee weapons, and they are as follows:
- Technique.
- Ranged.
- Melee.
Skill Labour in GOW Ragnarok:
- After unlocking an ability for your weapon, you need to practice it as much as possible.
- In order to rank up a skill, instead of spending experience points each time you level up
- You just need to use the unlocked skill on your weapons to upgrade them.
- The name Skill Labour in God of War refers to how one must work at practicing the newly learned ability before moving onto new tiers.
- There are three tiers of skill sets available in the Skill Labors and they are as follows:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
