Honkai Star Rail | Simulated Universe Mode Guide!

Honkai: Star Rail is a popular game with various challenging modes, and one of them is the Simulated Universe mode.

This mode is a rogue-lite adventure where players face different challenges and enemies with random bonuses and items. However, these bonuses and items disappear after each run, so players must strategize their approach each time. In World 3 of the Simulated Universe mode, players face a final boss, Gepard, who can be challenging even for teams above the recommended level of 45 due to his powerful AOE attacks. In this guide, we will discuss a team composition and Path Blessings that can help players conquer this difficult world.

Honkai Star Rail – Simulated Universe Mode:

Here’s everything you need to know about the Simulated universe mode in Honkai Star Rail:

First, it’s important to note that most enemies in World 3 are weak against Physical and Lightning damage, including elites and Gepard. With that in mind, players can consider using the following F2P team composition:

  • Physical Trailblazer (Main DPS)
  • Serval (Secondary damage dealer)
  • March 7th (Tank)
  • Bailu/Natasha (Healer)

Physical Trailblazer is an excellent option for breaking the Toughness bars of the two hardest possible enemies in this world, Gepard and the Silvermane Lieutenant. Breaking the miniboss’ Toughness bar is crucial to winning against it. Players can also use Seele for this encounter as most Silvermane Guard enemies are weak to Quantum damage. Serval works well as a secondary damage dealer, and March 7th is an excellent tank for this setup because of her passive Path Blessings.

Two Paths that synergize well with this team composition are Elation and Remembrance, though players will need some luck to activate them. Elation blessings can increase March 7th’s counter damage exponentially, while Remembrance’s Freeze-related effects can help March deal massive damage with her Ice damage and follow-up attacks.

Players should also look out for specific Blessings to benefit the rest of the team, including Champion’s Dinner – Cat’s Cradle (Elation), which increases follow-up attack damage, and Suspiria (Elation), which increases follow-up attack damage. Auto-Harmonica: Whitest Night (Elation) can help inflict Aftertaste damage (extra hits of random elements) 1-3 times. The Painted Albatross (Elation) deals extra damage to all enemies hit by follow-up attacks. Experience: Primordial Hardship (Remembrance) increases damage taken by Frozen enemies, while Ultimate Experience: Shudder (Remembrance) has a chance to inflict Ice Weakness on an enemy when dealing damage with an ultimate. Finally, Skirting Life and Death (Hunt) increases CRIT Rate, while Imperishable Victory (Hunt) advances the character’s next turn forward by 100% and grants Critical Boost at the start of the next turn after defeating an enemy.

Curios are also essential, and players should look for Dimension Reduction Dice, Robe of Beauty, Gold Coin of Discord, and Record From Beyond The Sky. Dimension Reduction Dice can help players find the right Blessings they need to make their setup work. Robe of Beauty and Gold Coin of Discord can boost the team’s damage output based on the amount of Cosmic Fragments they have. Record From Beyond The Sky helps the team tank through the many AOE attacks the bosses have in World 3.

So, players can use this team composition and Blessings setup to conquer World 3 of the Simulated Universe mode in Honkai: Star Rail. Remember to look out for the right Blessings and Curios, and utilize each character’s strengths to overcome the challenges you’ll face in this world.
