Hogwarts Legacy – Locked Doors & Chests:
Here’s how to unlock Locked doors in Hogwarts Legacy:
To unlock the locked doors, you will first have to complete the Caretaker’s Lunar Lament quest. This quest is a main story quest, and you will receive it early in the game while progressing through the main story. You will receive the quest once you complete Percival Reckham’s trial.
Once you complete the Caretaker’s Lunar Lament quest, you will be able to use the Alohomora charm to unlock the locked doors. Here’s how to do it:
- Cast the Alohomora charm on the locked door or chest.
- A mini-game will appear that requires you to lockpick the door or chest.
- The mini-game involves getting both the green and red spark gears to spin at the same time.
- If you are using a controller, use both analog sticks to control the gears. The left analog stick controls the inner ring with the red spark, and the right analog stick controls the outer ring with the green spark.
- If you are using a PC, the A and D keys control the red spark in the inner ring, while the E and Q keys control the green spark in the outer ring.
- Line up both rings to unlock the door or chest.
The Alohomora charm can be upgraded to unlock higher-level locked doors and chests. To upgrade the charm, you must collect Demiguise Moon Statues and bring them to Gladwin Moon. Here are the number of statues required to upgrade the charm:
