Step 1: Look for Shaking Pumpkins
The first step in finding Jackdaw’s Head is to find the shaking pumpkins. These pumpkins can be found all around the game, but they will only start shaking when you are close to them. To make the process easier, you can use the spell Revelio, which will highlight the shaking pumpkins in a yellow glow.
Step 2: Use Expelliarmus on the Shaking Pumpkins
Once you’ve found a shaking pumpkin, use the Expelliarmus spell to destroy it. After destroying five pumpkins, you’ll then be able to speak with Dumfrey Westland, who will direct you to Richard Jackdaw.
Step 3: Talk to Richard Jackdaw
After speaking with Dumfrey Westland, you’ll need to go to the Forbidden Forest’s edge and speak with Richard Jackdaw. He will start the Jackdaw’s Rest quest, which will take you to the location in the Forbidden Forest where he died.
