God of War: Ragnarok | How To Unlock Nornir Chest At Cliffside Ruins?

In God of War Ragnarok, the Cliffside Ruins Nornir Chest is easy to find but tricky to open without a guide. So here’s how to do it!

Players in God of War Ragnarok can uncover 11 Nornir Chests in Vanaheim, although some are more challenging to open than others. As an example, the Cliffside Ruins chest requires players to climb some stairs and use Sigil Arrows to open it. Since the Cliffside Ruins’ chest sits in plain sight, finding it is similarly straightforward as many other Nornir Chests in God of War Ragnarok. When the player finds the treasure, however, the real challenge begins, with his skills and senses needed to retrieve it.

God of War: Ragnarok – Nornir Chest Cliffside Ruins:

Here’s how to unlock the Nornir Chest at Cliffside ruins:

  • The Cliffside Ruins Nornir Chest can be a little tricky to find if you don’t know where to look.
  • It’s located near the Cliffside Ruins written on the map, and slightly to the right.
  • To open the chest, players must turn three spinning devices so that they display the three runes on the side.
  • This will break the seal that’s keeping it shut, and allow you to open the chest and claim your rewards.
  • The first spinning device is located on the rocks to the right of the Cliffside Ruins Nornir Chest.
  • To find it, players need to fire a Sigil Arrow or two at the vines blocking it and then detonate them with Kratos’ Blades of Chaos.
  • They’ll then need to spin it until it displays the rune that looks like an R.
  • If you see to the left of the Cliffside Ruins chest, there is a second device.
  • This one can be a bit tricky to spot, as it’s hidden behind a golden chain.
  • You need to climb onto the raised platforms that you will see on the sides.
  • Also, look over the golden chain. When you climb up you will notice the spinner is out of the ground.
  • You can turn this by using Kratos’ Leviathan Axe. It should show an F-like rune when it is turned.
  • The final spinner is located in a small area to the north of the Mystic Gate.
  • In order to get a clear shot at the spinner, players need to face south and get out of the boat.
  • Once they’re in position, they can turn the spinner to display the rune that resembles a P.
  • Doing so will unlock the chest, which has the potential to contain an Idunn Apple, a Horn of the Blood Mead, or other random items.
