How to unlock the Desert Door in God of War Ragnarok?
Once you have completed Freyr’s Gift, you will be able to find the two keys to The Desert Door. you can get to the quest in the northwest corner of The Forbidden Desert. To find these keys, you will need to use your light crystals to light up Freyr’s statue. This will cause the small blue circles with crystals in the Forbidden Desert to light up, gifting you resources. These locations also contain the two keys you need to find.
All key locations for The Desert Door
- To find the first key, enter The Forbidden Desert from the east side.
- The second key is located on the west side of The Forbidden Desert, close to the entrance of Freyr’s statue.
- Once you have both keys, return to the Desert Door north of the Forbidden Desert and use the keys to unlock the door. This will take you to Gravel Belly, where you’ll find the third key needed to unlock the door to the Desert Palace.
How to defeat Gravel Belly?
- The Gravel Belly creature is a fearsome opponent, but if the player can exploit its weak points, it will be able to defeat it.
- The creature has two weak points on its front feet, and if the player can hit these with a spear, they will be able to fill the creature’s stun bar.
- Once the bar is full, the creature will fall to the ground, giving the player a few seconds to bash into it and cause as much damage as possible.
- The Gravel Belly has several attacks which the player must avoid or parry; some of these attacks are unblockable.
- However, if the player can stay alive long enough, they will be able to defeat the creature and claim the valuable resources it drops.
