There are several chests that can be found in different areas of the map in God of War. Here are the locations of all the Nornir chests that can be found in God of War.
Collecting Nornir chests in God of War is a crucial part of the game if you want to get all the upgrade materials that you need. If you’re thinking about getting stuck on some stage, you can use our guide to help you find all God of War locked rune chests.
They are useful for your upgrades. But, these chests are not easy to find and open, though. We have broken down each stage containing the Nornir chest, so you will get them easier.
God of War – Nornir Chests Locations:
If you stray from the beaten path in God of War, you may find yourself face to face with one of many locked chests. To help you, here is our guide to finding all Nornir Chests Locations in God of War.
There are 19 Nornir Chest locations. Here is the list of all those.
- Chest # 1 Location:
At the beginning of the game, you will get on to the hunt with Atreus. Going to the same path, you will find the crossroad ruins. There you will see the deer. Just go straight from there to get to this chest.
- Chest # 2 Location:
After getting through the River pass, you will find a path after killing the first Revenant. Climb this path and go till you get the chest.
- Chest # 3 Location:
Enter the spike ceiling chamber near Brok’s Shop when you play the Path of the Mountain section of the game. You have to jump up a ledge to get to the exit. A new platform appears when the ceiling drops. Get on this platform to find Chest.
- Chest # 4 Location:
At one point in the River pass, you kill a Troll. There is a cliff on the left side of the path where another chest should be visible.
- Chest # 5 Location:
The Witch’s Cave is where you find this chest in your main storyline. Shock and Light Arrows are required for opening it. Follow the path to the place where you pushed the pallet in the water. New crystals will appear below this time leading to another chest.
- Chest # 6 Location:
Getting access to the Winds of Hel and returning to the Witch’s Cave are two things you’ll need for this. The turtles are located on a wall. It’s possible to create a giant arch using the sand bowl that has the Winds of Hel on its right side that you can shift. The Winds can be grabbed by going up and then placed on the rune mechanism by going downward. Once the runes have begun to circle, the Winds can be grabbed. They must be taken to the chest to activate.
- Chest # 7 Location:
This chest is located in the Forgotten Caverns near Lake of the Nine.
- Chest # 8 Location:
To get this chest you need to go to Lookout Tower.
- Chest # 9 Location:
You need to find this chest after your meetup with Sindir.
- Chest #10 Location:
This chest can be found on the right side of Sindir shop.
- Chest # 11 Location:
When you go to the NorthEast side of Lake Nine, you will find a gate that you need to open. This chest you will find near the rune circle. Check the south.
- Chest #12 Location:
You will find this chest after you are done with The Light of Alfheim.
- Chest # 13 Location:
You can see this chest when the light of Alfheim gets inside.
- Chest # 14 Location:
Another chest you will find where the Light of Alfheim ends.
- Chest # 15 Location:
Get to the Elf Shore. Now you need to go left there on the path of the gazebo. You will find this chest there.
- Chest #16 Location:
After solving the riddle you need to get inside the mountain. Now you need to get under a bridge there and find some kedge to climb to get to the chest.
- Chest #17 Location:
Inside the mountain find the tallest room and you will find this chest there. But you can only find this after you are done with mountain terror.
- Chest # 18 Location:
This chest can be found on the NorthWest side of the Lake of Nine. First, wait for a second drop of the water in the Light Elf Outpost.
- Chest # 19 Location:
You can find this chest in Helheim after reaching the ship and pushing the stone.
