There are several types of weapons in DL2 and each one of them has a durability span. once it’s over your weapon will be completely useless to you. The durability of a weapon is affected by its usage. The more you use it the sooner it will break down and become useless. However, there’s a new feature that allows you to repair your weapon before they become useless. So keep reading this article to find out how to repair weapons in DL2.

How To Repair Weapons in Dying Light 2:

In DL2, only higher-quality weapons can be repaired such as Unique (Purple), Rare (blue), and Artifact (yellow) weapons. But getting these weapons is not an easy task because only these weapons have mod slots in them. There are three types of Mods in DL2,

  1. Tip
  2. Shaft
  3. Grip

You will be able to get these mods as quest rewards, find them while exploring, or purchase them from Craftsmaster merchants.

Follow the instructions listed below to know how to repair your weapons:

  • Go into your inventory once you have both damage weapon and Mods.
  • Select the damaged weapon and check out whether it has a mod slot to apply mods or not.
  • Your weapon can have zero to more than 3 mod slots.
  • You can modify your weapon to increase its durability by 50% and if you modify all three parts of a weapon its durability will increase to 150%.
  • You must keep it in your mind that once you modify your weapons you won’t be able to modify any one of them soon.
