Back 4 Blood is now available and players are wondering how the crossplay works in the game. So we have made this guide to tell you how the Crossplay option works in Back 4 Blood.
Back 4 Blood has become famous among the players since its launch and several players want to know how they can turn on the Crossplay in Back 4 Blood. Through crossplay, you will be able to team up with your friends regardless of on which platform they are playing the game. Completing Back 4 Blood in a single-player mode is very difficult so it is best to play the game in the multiplayer mode. Here we will tell you everything you need to know about the Crossplay option in Back 4 Blood.
How does Crossplay work in Back 4 Blood?
When you start playing Back 4 Blood crossplay will be turned on automatically. When you start an online campaign, you will be asked whether you want to keep the crossplay mode on or off. If you don’t disable the crossplay mode the game will search for players for you to team up with the help of matchmaking pools across all platforms.
Here’s how to disable the crossplay in B4B:
- Go to Hub from the main menu.
- Go to the Preferences Option.
- Uncheck the crossplay option from the preferences option to disable it.
If you disable the crossplay then you will only team up with the players who are playing the game on the same console. Cross-Gen is also included in the crossplay. It means that you will have to enable crossplay if you want to play multiplayer with your friends by sharing your username in-game via Add-Friends.
