Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is a rhythm game developed by Square Enix for the Nintendo 3DS.

In this game, players are tasked with tapping, sliding, and holding notes in time with the music from the Final Fantasy series. What sets Theatrhythm apart from other rhythm games is its unique approach to character and class selection.

In addition to the four main classes, there are also several “mixed” characters who have a balance of stats from multiple classes.

It’s worth noting that all of the characters can be unlocked naturally by playing through the Series Quest mode. While heroes become playable as soon as their respective series is unlocked, villains only become playable after clearing that series. However, clearing a series does not require completing the quests attached to the songs.
